Work Environment

The work setting is an onsite orthopedic outpatient rehabilitation facility, where our team focuses on providing a friendly and supportive atmosphere. Operating from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, you will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and resources to facilitate effective treatment methods, allowing you to deliver care that meets contemporary standards in physical therapy.

Key Responsibilities

• Effectively assess and identify patients' rehabilitation goals and requirements, tailoring personalized treatment strategies accordingly.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic physical therapy to provide evidence-based treatments and interventions that improve patients' mobility and functional capabilities.
• Employ a variety of techniques to reduce reliance on medications and to provide non-surgical alternatives, enhancing patients' overall health outcomes.
• Continuously evaluate treatment effectiveness, track patient progress, and adjust care plans to maximize rehabilitation potential.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure a unified approach to patient care.
• Guide patients in engaging in therapeutic exercises designed to improve strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Document progress and outcomes meticulously while maintaining seamless communication with patients and their families.
• Encourage a proactive stance towards health and wellness, instilling a sense of responsibility and commitment in your patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will work closely with patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric, adjusting treatment plans to accommodate individual needs and mobility challenges. Our focus is on fostering an engaging rehabilitation experience that empowers patients and motivates them to take an active role in their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• An active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in orthopedic outpatient settings.
• A clean professional record, free of any board or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and therapeutic interventions.
• Excellent skills in developing, implementing, and evaluating exercise protocols tailored to patient goals.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in multidisciplinary rehabilitation settings, collaborating with various health professionals.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and documentation workflows.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 110,000 to 130,000 per year, complemented by performance-based bonuses.
