Work Environment

This full-time position at Bodywise Physical Therapy is heavily focused on an onsite work setting, primarily within home care facilities. You will work directly with patients in the comfort of their homes, promoting a tailored approach to rehabilitation. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of each patient to identify individual goals, needs, and challenges related to their mobility and strength.
• Develop and implement customized care plans that incorporate evidence-based practices and diverse treatment techniques aligned with patients' specific conditions.
• Utilize advanced modalities and therapeutic methods to deliver cost-effective treatments designed to enhance patients' mobility and restore function.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, sharing insights and strategies to optimize patient care and progress.
• Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation techniques, exercise regimens, and preventative measures for maintaining health post-recovery.
• Inspire patients by motivating them to engage fully in their rehabilitation process, reinforcing their efforts to enhance mobility, strength, flexibility, and overall well-being.
• Document patient interactions and treatment plans accurately in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The focus of this role will be predominantly on patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, including but not limited to musculoskeletal injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. You will work closely with individuals of varying ages and backgrounds, tailoring your approach to each person's specific rehabilitation needs.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required. Preference may be given to those with a Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• An active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey is necessary.
• Strong foundational knowledge of orthopedic rehabilitation and evidence-based physical therapy practices.
• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting patient assessments, treatment planning, and executing physical therapy interventions.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience working in orthopedic rehabilitation, with demonstrated success in treating a variety of musculoskeletal injuries.
• Effective communication skills for engaging with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams; ability to foster trust and rapport with clientele.
• Experience managing diverse patient personalities and adapting treatment approaches accordingly to enhance compliance and success.

Compensation and Benefits
