Work Environment

This onsite position is situated in a modern rehabilitation facility designed for optimum patient comfort and recovery. Our team environment encourages collaboration and innovation, benefiting from a range of experienced professionals, including orthopedic physicians and specialty therapists. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a balanced work-life experience while allowing you to dedicate quality time to your patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions to determine appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Develop, implement, and regularly modify individualized treatment plans that reflect the specific needs and goals of each patient.
• Utilize evidence-based practices, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities, to facilitate recovery and optimize outcomes.
• Engage in regular communication with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and nursing staff, to provide coordinated care and ensure the best possible outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, home exercise routines, and self-care techniques to promote ongoing recovery after therapy sessions.
• Monitor patient progress through functional assessments and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective rehabilitation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The orthopedic physical therapist will primarily work with a diverse patient population, ranging from adolescents to seniors, all dealing with various orthopedic conditions. Common diagnoses include sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation (such as joint replacements and repairs), and chronic pain syndromes. Our team is particularly attentive to the emotional and psychological aspects of recovery, providing empathetic support throughout the rehabilitation process.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• An active state license as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey is mandatory.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an orthopedic setting is essential.
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build rapport with diverse patient populations.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic clinic is preferred but not required.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000 annually, aligned with your education and experience.
