Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients presenting with orthopedic injuries to assess their physical limitations and develop an individualized treatment strategy.
• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that are adaptable to the unique needs of each patient, ensuring their recovery goals are met.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and advanced modalities, to facilitate recovery and enhance mobility.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, making timely adjustments to treatment plans in accordance with clinical findings and patient feedback.
• Educate patients on best practices for injury prevention, effective rehabilitation exercises, and self-management strategies to support ongoing recovery at home.
• Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare providers for holistic care of each patient, ensuring communication on progress and challenges.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations, ensuring patient confidentiality and safety.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, trauma, or degenerative conditions affecting mobility. You will engage with a diverse client population, including athletes, older adults, and post-surgery patients, tailoring your approach to meet their specific recovery objectives. This direct involvement not only enhances their physical health but greatly impacts their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy (MPT) from an accredited institution.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in physical therapy with a focus on orthopedics, geriatrics, or outpatient care settings.
• Proficient in orthopedic assessment techniques and patient-centered care planning, demonstrating a strong understanding of therapeutic interventions.

Compensation and Benefits
