Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor at Hopestone Counseling Services, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and intake evaluations to determine clients' therapeutic needs and goals.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions for teens and adults, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to support mental health recovery.

• Provide crisis intervention services to clients in immediate need, helping them navigate through challenging situations related to domestic violence.

• Maintain accurate and confidential treatment records, ensuring all documentation adheres to ethical guidelines and legal requirements.

• Regularly participate in clinical supervision meetings to enhance professional development and receive guidance on case management.

• Track and manage caseload effectively, ensuring timely follow-ups and engagement with clients throughout their treatment journey.

• Offer community resources, referrals, and advocacy to clients to assist them in accessing additional support services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of your work will be primarily on women and teens who have experienced or are currently living in environments affected by domestic violence. In addition to working with adolescents, you will also engage with families to promote healing and resilience. Your role will be pivotal in creating a safe space where clients can express themselves and work toward recovery, utilizing Play Therapy techniques to support younger clients.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• An active LPCC license, allowing you to practice independently in California.
\n
• Strong foundation in individual counseling and family interventions is essential.

• Availability to work some evening hours (3-8 pm) at least two days per week.

• A valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following experiences will enhance your candidacy:

• Interest and/or experience in providing Play Therapy services for children.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $105,000 annually, along with opportunities for performance-based bonuses.
