Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will be responsible for a variety of specific tasks, including:

• Client Documentation: Prepare and maintain thorough progress notes, closing summaries, and transfer documentation to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Therapeutic Services: Conduct intake assessments with new clients, carefully evaluating their psychological needs, creating tailored treatment plans, and facilitating individual, group, and family therapy sessions.

• Behavioral Health Development: Collaborate with the Behavioral Health Department in developing programs geared towards proactive mental health services and community outreach.
\n
• Crisis Management: Provide timely interventions for clients in crisis, utilizing evidence-based practices to support their recovery and stabilization.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse population of children and families coping with varying mental health issues such as trauma, PTSD, homelessness, addiction, and other co-occurring disorders. Our focus is on delivering culturally competent care that respects the individuality of every client, fostering a safe space for healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in Social Sciences or a related field.

• Current licensure as an LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT, with knowledge of applicable state supervision guidelines.

• A minimum of two years of experience in mental health services, particularly in crisis management settings.
