Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Utilizing established mental health therapy techniques to provide counseling services for individuals and families, specifically targeting diagnosed emotional and behavioral disorders.

• Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and creating thoughtful initial discharge plans tailored to each client.
\n
• Facilitating individual, group, or family therapy sessions, selecting the appropriate modalities based on the treatment plans formulated for clients.

• Designing and coordinating initial treatment plans based on assessments, ensuring they are continuously revised in response to client progress and needs.
\n
• Maintaining thorough and accurate documentation of therapy services in compliance with facility standards and applicable laws.

• Managing an assigned caseload and actively participating in treatment team meetings to collaborate effectively with colleagues on patient care.

• Upholding a commitment to patient safety by addressing feedback and working diligently to resolve any concerns to enhance the therapeutic experience.

• Performing other duties as assigned, which may include contributions to clinic initiatives and community outreach.

Qualifications\n

To thrive in this position, applicants are required to possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related Human Services field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) recognized in the state of Arizona.

• A strong ethical framework and a commitment to advancing the mental health of the community, coupled with excellent communication skills.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of experience in mental health counseling is required, candidates with experience working in community health settings or providing therapy across the lifespan—including both children and adults—will be particularly well-suited for this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
