Accounts Receivable Clerk Location: In office at our Sherman Oaks CA location Full-time, temporary, with potential for regular employment: 40 hours/week Wage: $20/hr Hours: 8AM-5PM, Monday-Friday Position Summary The Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the organization’s cash flow through timely invoicing. This is a temporary position that may lead to regular employment, depending on business needs and performance. Job Duties Receive, post, and reconcile customer payments Apply payments to customer accounts accurately Process checks, ACH payments, wire transfers, and credit card transactions and other forms of payments Assist with month-end and mid-month reports (if month end falls on weekend, may require 4-5 hours on weekend) Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures Support continuous improvement efforts within accounting processes Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 1–3 years of accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or accounting experience preferred Preferred Qualifications Efficiency with 10-key Ability to work on weekends if month end falls on weekend Knowledge of Outlook and Excel Experience with CUBS is a plus Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong attention to detail and accuracy Effective communication Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines Problem-solving and analytical skills Strong organizational skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality with financial information Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting and computer work Fast‑paced Frequent interaction with internal departments Caine & Weiner is an Equal Opportunity Employer, our full suites of solution‑based services provide our clients with individual customization and optimized recovery results. #J-18808-Ljbffr
