Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed assessments to understand clients' histories and develop appropriate, individualized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate trauma recovery.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that encourage clients to process their trauma and build effective coping mechanisms.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care for every client.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support for clients facing trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and available support resources.

• Ensure all client documentation is meticulously completed and complies with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to discuss treatment progress and share knowledge about trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals experiencing trauma-related disorders. This includes clients with PTSD, complex trauma backgrounds, and those dealing with dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possess a current and valid license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is required, candidates with additional experience and specialized training in trauma-focused therapies will be highly regarded. Compensation and Benefits\n
