Work Environment\n

This position is a full-time role that offers the flexibility of remote work while being part of a community health clinic dedicated to systematic mental health improvement. The work hours generally run from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility as needed to accommodate patient scheduling. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to better understand patients' unique backgrounds and challenges, ensuring that all evaluations are culturally sensitive.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions that are individualized, taking into account patients’ cultural and personal factors to promote optimal healing and recovery.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, effectively managing dynamics to foster resilience and support patients in overcoming mental health concerns.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals for coordinated, holistic care, ensuring that patients benefit from a support network tailored to their needs.

• Quickly respond to crisis situations by providing timely intervention and support during mental health emergencies to help stabilize individuals in need.

• Educate patients and their families on effective coping mechanisms, treatment options, and available community resources that can aid in their mental health journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation following legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring compliance and protection of patient privacy.

• Actively participate in team meetings, case conferences, and cultural competence training sessions to enhance service delivery and foster a learning environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.

• A strong knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and cultural competence in therapy.

• Experience providing individual and group therapy, with a demonstrated ability to tailor approaches based on cultural responsiveness.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
