The selected candidate will earn an annual salary ranging from $75,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify emotional, social, and environmental factors that may impact students' academic and personal success.

• Provide one-on-one counseling and therapeutic interventions to students, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and family dynamics.

• Collaborate with educators and administrative staff to create and implement individualized treatment plans that account for each student's psychosocial needs.

• Facilitate access to community resources, such as mental health services, support groups, and academic assistance, to empower students and their families.

• Conduct workshops and informational sessions for students and parents on topics such as coping strategies, emotional regulation, and stress management.

• Participate in ongoing discharge planning and facilitate transitions for students moving between different educational settings or back to their homes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on students facing various emotional and social challenges within a school framework. This includes working with children and adolescents dealing with stressors from the family, academic pressures, social dynamics, and developmental milestones. You will play a key role in supporting their mental health needs to ensure successful educational outcomes and overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Kansas.

• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and educational professionals.
