Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of students’ mental health and emotional needs through interviews, observations, and standardized tests.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each student’s unique circumstances, including trauma history and family dynamics.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help students navigate their challenges.

• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA guidelines and organizational policies.

• Collaborate regularly with teachers, school administrators, and parents to ensure a consistent approach to student welfare and treatment strategies.

• Educate students and their families about mental health issues, coping strategies, and available resources.
\n
• Participate actively in team meetings to discuss client progress and refine treatment approaches as necessary.

• Engage in ongoing professional development by staying informed about the latest research and best practices in social work and mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on school-aged children and adolescents facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depressive symptoms, and the effects of trauma. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• A valid LCSW license in the state of Kansas is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n
