Key Responsibilities\n

• Establish a positive, trusting rapport with patients through effective communication and empathy.

• Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose mental health disorders, formulating a clear understanding of each patient's unique needs.

• Create personalized treatment plans that align with the patient's goals and circumstances, ensuring they are tailored to foster individual growth.

• Lead both individual and couple counseling sessions utilizing various therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.

• Regularly meet with patients to provide ongoing counseling and support while monitoring the effectiveness of treatment interventions.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary in collaboration with clients.

• Refer clients to specialists when appropriate, acting as a resource in myriads of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, and more.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT, you will work with a diverse client population encompassing individuals, couples, and families. Your focus will include various mental health issues ranging from common challenges like anxiety and depression to complex family dynamics and relationship counseling. This role allows you to positively impacts lives across various backgrounds, helping to build healthier relational frameworks.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and current LMFT license in Virginia, allowing for independent clinical practice.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• Strong therapeutic and counseling skills with proven ability to motivate and engage clients effectively.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, bolstering teamwork and collaboration among colleagues.

Preferred Experience\n

• The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 70,000 and 90,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
