Commercial Litigation Associate - Atlanta, Dallas or Washington, DC Posted on January 29, 2026 Responsibilities Drafting complex case evaluations, pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents. Handling all aspects of litigation from case inception through trial and appeal, where applicable. Conducting legal research and drafting analytical memoranda. Managing written discovery, document review, and depositions. Working directly with clients, witnesses, experts, and other counsel. Analyzing insurance coverage and extra‑contractual disputes, including drafting coverage opinions and related analyses. Qualifications 4–6 years of complex litigation experience. Experience with insurance coverage litigation is a strong plus; candidates with complex litigation backgrounds and a genuine interest in high‑level coverage work are encouraged to apply. Genuine interest in emerging risks in insurance and environmental and products liability underlying litigation. Strong writing, case management, client‑facing, and oral advocacy skills are required. Federal District Court or Appellate clerkship experience is a plus. Must be licensed to practice law and be in good standing in the state where the hired candidate will be practicing. Washington, DC candidates may be licensed in any US state or territory if eligible to waive into the Washington, DC Bar pursuant to DC Court of Appeals Rule 46 and agree to apply for an Exception to Admission. Position Information Salary range for Washington, DC: $260,000–$390,000 (based on experience). Titles may include Associate, Managing Associate, or Senior Managing Associate.
