Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and create comprehensive mental health evaluations to identify client needs.

• Design personalized treatment plans that encompass both therapeutic strategies and measurable goals. For example, you might develop a recovery plan focusing on anxiety management techniques for individual clients.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Regularly monitor and document clients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary and conducting timely follow-ups to ensure ongoing support.

• Collaborate effectively with a network of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and primary care physicians, to coordinate comprehensive care for each client.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health issues, strategies for managing behavioral challenges, and recovery resources.

• Stay informed on advancements in mental health practices, integrating new methodologies into your treatment approach.

• Facilitate community referrals to additional services or support systems as required.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Colorado.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Proficiency in the use of electronic health records, particularly familiarity with systems like AVATAR.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in clinical mental health counseling, demonstrating a strong background in individual and group therapy.

• Knowledge of addiction disorders and their impact on mental health.

• Familiarity with best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this role ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
