Work Environment\n

This Social Work position operates in a fully remote setting, encouraging flexibility and adaptability. While based at home, the Social Worker will leverage telehealth tools and virtual communication platforms to connect with students, families, and school personnel. This role requires an ability to adapt to a virtual environment while maintaining effective connections for patient support. Hours typically are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with some evening or weekend hours as necessary to accommodate urgent client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will undertake various critical tasks, including but not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments for children and adolescents, evaluating emotional, mental, and social factors impacting their educational journey.

• Collaborating closely with students, families, and school staff to create tailored care plans that aim to reach specific developmental, emotional, and educational goals.

• Providing counseling services that empower students and help them tackle life transitions, academic pressures, and personal challenges, fostering resilience and coping strategies.

• Advocating for clients' rights to ensure they access necessary school resources, community support, and services, maintaining a focus on holistic well-being.

• Engaging with interdisciplinary teams, including educators, psychologists, and health professionals, to ensure seamless integration of services tailored to each child's unique circumstances.

• Conducting regular follow-up sessions to monitor students' progress, adjusting care plans as necessary to reflect their evolving needs and goals.

• Facilitating discussions and resolving disputes among family members, ensuring a cohesive approach towards care and support.
\n
• Educating families on available community resources, support networks, and educational programs that can enhance their child’s social interaction and academic success.

• Maintaining meticulous and current documentation of assessments, care plans, progress notes, and relevant communications, complying with legal and ethical standards.

• Staying informed on the latest developments in social work practices, especially those relevant to school-aged populations and child welfare policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on school children ranging from early childhood through adolescence. Social Workers play a pivotal role in addressing a variety of issues, including emotional disturbances, family dynamics, academic stress, and social integration challenges, all contributing to a child's overall health and success in school.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a social work environment, particularly within educational or youth-focused contexts.

• Comprehensive knowledge of child development, social work principles, and available community and educational resources.

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, with a genuine capacity to empathize and establish rapport with children and families.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across interdisciplinary teams.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and virtual counseling platforms.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 60,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
