Key Responsibilities\n

• Serve as a critical liaison between students, families, and external mental health providers to facilitate comprehensive care.

• Conduct assessments and provide feedback through interactions with insurance companies for pre-certifications and treatment plan approvals.

• Participate actively in discharge planning and aftercare coordination for students transitioning out of more intensive supportive services.

• Provide therapeutic meal support, guiding students in understanding and modeling a healthy relationship with food.

• Deliver compassionate, safe, and affirming care customized to each client's unique circumstances, embracing intersectional identities and diverse backgrounds.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse student population within the school system, which includes children and adolescents facing various emotional and behavioral challenges. Our clients come from different socio-economic backgrounds and possess unique intersecting identities, enabling the LCSW to apply a culturally responsive framework to their therapeutic practices. Your role is essential in promoting healthy coping strategies and assisting students in navigating their personal challenges.

Qualifications\n

• Education: A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required to meet licensing standards.

Compensation and Benefits\n
