What You\'ll Do As a Business Development Representative, you\'ll help drive agency growth through a combination of new customer acquisition and relationship-based sales. You\'ll: Generate new business through prospecting, referrals, networking, lead generation, and relationship building. Respond to and convert agency-generated sales leads. Sell Property & Casualty insurance to new prospects. Conduct needs-based conversations to understand each customer\'s situation and recommend appropriate solutions. Identify multiline opportunities with existing customers, including Life insurance. Develop referral opportunities through strong customer relationships. Build your own pipeline instead of relying exclusively on incoming leads. Engage with our local community and help expand the agency\'s presence through social media and community involvement. Provide relationship-focused customer service that builds loyalty and long-term retention. Consistently work toward individual and agency sales goals. Experience & Licensing Previous insurance or sales experience is a plus, but insurance experience is not required. We are especially interested in candidates with backgrounds involving sales, business development, customer acquisition, banking, hospitality, retail, automotive sales, fitness, wireless sales, or other relationship-driven industries. Candidates who already hold applicable insurance licenses are strongly encouraged to apply. Not licensed yet? Compensation This is a performance-driven position with a combination of financial stability and opportunity to earn more through results.
