Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to connect with clients from the comfort of your home. Your schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., allowing for a balanced professional life.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, utilizing diagnostic tools and clinical observations.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their unique needs, therapeutic goals, and personal preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate clients’ progress.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, discussing treatment options and self-care strategies to promote understanding and resilience.
\n
• Monitor client progress meticulously and adjust treatment plans as necessary, responding to real-time feedback from clients about their therapeutic journey.

• Work in a multidisciplinary team, coordinating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for clients.

• Keep up-to-date with advances in mood disorder research, applying new knowledge to enhance treatment outcomes.
\n
• Ensure all documentation is kept accurate and confidential, following legal and ethical guidelines for mental health service delivery.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities to improve your skills and contributions.

• Advocate for clients, working to reduce mental health stigma and ensure that their voices and needs are heard and respected.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals dealing with mood disorders, including anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. This diverse clientele may range from adolescents in their formative years to adults managing complex emotional challenges. As such, your capacity to build rapport and provide empathetic, culturally competent care will be vital.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

Compensation and Benefits\n
