Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and preliminary interviews, documenting all case details from the initial consultation through the treatment plan's execution.

• Assess clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health, identifying root causes of their challenges to formulate targeted intervention strategies.

• Design and implement detailed treatment plans for individuals, families, couples, and groups, utilizing evidence-based practices that align with our clinic's objective of fostering mental health.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing psychoeducation and support while monitoring client progress to ensure adherence to treatment goals.
\n
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals—including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers—to develop and refine intervention strategies.

• Maintain consistent follow-up communication with clients, particularly those recently discharged from hospitalization, to track recovery and adjust treatment approaches as necessary.

• Assist family members and primary caregivers in understanding mental health challenges, equipping them with strategies to support their loved ones effectively.

• Identify behaviors that may hinder recovery and implement proactive strategies to address them.

The primary client base consists of individuals facing anxiety disorders and related mental health issues. Qualifications\n

• A bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Exam (NCE) and/or National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, for case documentation and client management.
\n
• Strong understanding of the interplay between physical health conditions, emotional well-being, and addiction disorders.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Exceptional communication skills—both oral and written—and the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.

• A passion for continuous learning and professional growth in the mental health field.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating successful outcomes with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
