This role is fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while engaging with students and educational staff virtually. You will collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals, teachers, and school administrators to ensure an integrated approach to the mental health and wellness of students. Key Responsibilities\n

• Engage directly with students experiencing significant mental illness and severe emotional challenges, providing therapeutic interventions in a school setting.

• Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions aimed at addressing the specific needs of students.

• Develop and implement integrated treatment plans in collaboration with educators, parents, and other stakeholders.
\n
• Provide immediate crisis intervention for students in distress, utilizing de-escalation techniques and ensuring a safe environment.

• Perform evidence-based screenings and assessments, determining necessary follow-up care or more comprehensive evaluations as needed.

• Monitor and document each client’s progress, ensuring that updates and reports are submitted timely.
\n
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to align on student care approaches and shared objectives.

• Assist in developing and executing preventive programs to promote mental health awareness within the school community.

• Provide education and resources to students and families about mental health issues to foster understanding and reduce stigma.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses on children and adolescents attending local schools dealing with various mental health issues ranging from anxiety, depression, to behavioral challenges. You will play a crucial role in early intervention, working to break the cycle of mental health stigma and encouraging students to seek help when needed. Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, with a valid LCSW license.

Compensation and Benefits\n
