Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our outpatient office in Alexandria, Virginia, a vibrant community known for its rich history and accessible healthcare resources. Our facility is designed to facilitate effective therapeutic interventions, equipped with modern tools and technology that support the delivery of exceptional patient care. Working hours are Monday to Friday, with flexible shifts from either 7 am - 3 pm or 8 am - 4 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to identify individual needs and establish treatment goals.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with the therapy and facility team, applying industry best practices and evidence-based methodologies.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and rehabilitation processes to foster understanding and encourage active participation.
• Facilitate in-services and educational sessions for facility staff to enhance awareness and knowledge about physical therapy services.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care plan meetings, providing critical insights on patient progress and advocating for necessary adjustments to therapeutic plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies to ensure continuity of care and quality assurance.
• Work closely with the supervising Physical Therapist to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care, sharing insights and implementing feedback effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve patients in an outpatient setting recovering from orthopedic surgery, injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our patient demographic includes a diverse population, ranging from young athletes to older adults requiring rehabilitation to restore mobility and function. Your expertise will be vital in facilitating their recovery journey, focusing on pain relief and restoring physical capabilities.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapist license in good standing in the state of Virginia.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.
• Current CPR certification to ensure the safety of all patients under your care.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with patients, families, and team members.
• A commitment to upholding the highest standards of clinical excellence and ethical practice.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility is preferred but not mandatory; however, a strong desire to learn and improve is essential.
• Experience with multidisciplinary teamwork and collaboration, contributing to effective patient care.
• Knowledge of state regulations and compliance requirements concerning physical therapy practices.

Compensation and Benefits

Fracture Care Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, our full-time team members receive a robust benefits package, including:
