Benchmark Orthopedic Clinic is actively seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dedicated team in Long Beach, California. In this full-time role, you will be a crucial contributor to our patients' journeys to recovery, playing a key part in their rehabilitation process. Our team includes experienced professionals, including two physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), all working collaboratively to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care. We primarily serve individuals covered by private medical insurance, ensuring that they receive the highest standard of care tailored to their unique needs.

Work Environment

This position is onsite at our Long Beach facility, where you will work in a supportive and dynamic environment. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced approach between professional responsibilities and personal life. The clinic's collaborative atmosphere enables effective communication amongst team members, ensuring that every patient receives holistic care throughout their rehabilitation process.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' goals, needs, and functional limitations.
• Maintain a patient load of one individual per hour while ensuring the delivery of high-quality care.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques to facilitate recovery and promote independence.
• Design comprehensive treatment plans that incorporate various modalities tailored to patient requirements.
• Educate patients about injury prevention, posture correction, and effective rehabilitation strategies.
• Encourage and motivate patients through their treatment journey to optimize their functional outcomes.
• Monitor and evaluate treatment effects and patient progress to adjust plans as necessary.
• Document all services provided, including assessments and interventions, in compliance with clinic protocols.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role as a Physical Therapist, you will primarily work with individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Our patients seek personalized care that helps them regain motion, strength, and functionality. Your expertise will have a significant impact on their progress and their overall satisfaction with the rehabilitative process.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution is required.
• Active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California without any board or disciplinary actions.
• Strong manual therapy skills and familiarity with various treatment modalities.
• Ability to create effective exercise routines based on patients' conditions and goals.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, such as WebPT, for efficient documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable. Experience dealing with a diverse patient population is also an asset, as it will enhance your capability to address varying patient needs effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

The offered salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 100,000 to 125,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
