Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing you to provide therapy to clients from the comfort of your own space while maintaining a collaborative virtual environment with your colleagues. Our work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend availability required on a rotating basis. This flexible arrangement promotes work-life balance while ensuring the accessibility of our services to those who need them most.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the presence and severity of mood disorder symptoms in clients, utilizing standardized tools and interview techniques.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that align with their specific needs, goals, and values, ensuring a patient-centered approach.
\n
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to encourage positive behavioral changes.
\n
• Engage with clients and their families in educational discussions about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to foster resilience.
\n
• Monitor and document clients' progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary to remain responsive to evolving needs throughout the therapeutic process.
\n
• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care, sharing insights and updates on client progress and treatment effectiveness.
\n
• Stay informed on the latest trends, research, and methodologies in the treatment of mood disorders to continuously refine therapeutic techniques and interventions.
\n
• Maintain confidential and accurate documentation of all therapy sessions, assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA and ethical standards.

• Participate in team meetings and case consultations, contributing to collaborative discussions about treatment approaches and best practices.
\n
• Advocate for clients’ mental health needs, encouraging community awareness and understanding of mood disorders to reduce stigma.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals confronting mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. You will play an essential role in empowering clients to navigate their emotional challenges and foster a sense of hope and recovery. Our diverse client population represents various backgrounds, so cultural competence and sensitivity are paramount in your interactions and treatment plans.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, particularly in treating mood disorders.
\n
• Expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities, such as CBT and DBT, with a solid understanding of psychopharmacology and collaborative care.
\n
• Demonstrated success in delivering positive outcomes for clients with mood disorders.
\n
• Excellent communication skills and a genuine ability to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

While the minimum requirement is two years of experience, candidates will stand out with additional experience in integrated care settings, proficiency in teletherapy, and involvement in community outreach initiatives related to mental health advocacy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we offer a generous sign-on bonus to welcome new team members.
