The position is responsible for the monthly accounting close and financial reporting for the entire company. The Accounting Manager will report to and work directly with the Controller.You will focus on:Oversees all aspects of the financial accounting process including general ledger maintenance; journal entry review monthly close; balance sheet reconciliation; financial reporting, and budget variance analysis for all AHS entitiesResponsible for hierarchy and scalability in chart of accounts and accuracy in the general ledger and financial statements and has ultimate authority over classification and booking of all transactionsParticipate in the ongoing development/establishment of accounting policies and procedures and operational strategiesAssists Controller in coordinating the annual budget processMake recommendations for changes as needed and ensure that company policies and procedures are followed and establishes the proper techniques to discover and prevent fraud through highly structured internal controlsThe Skills, Experience & Education You BringBachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or related field of studyStrong and demonstrated working knowledge of GAAP and accounting skillsHighly analytical and ability to evaluate complex accounting and financial data with limited supervisionSelf-motivated and proactive team player who works independently and takes ownership of and accountability for assigned tasksExcellent time management and ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneouslyHighly detail orientedThe Base Salary for this position is $107,250 - $128,700/yearIn addition, we provide a competitive compensation package that recognizes your experience, credentials, and education alongside a robust benefits program to meet your needs.Excellent medical, vision, and dental coverage401k savings plan with a company matchFlexible time off and 9 Paid HolidaysYou Share Our Mission & Values:CompassionWe act with empathy and a deep respect for the challenges faced by physicians and their patients.
