Security Officer Part-Time Office in Scottsdale, AZ . Job Type: Part Time | Pay Rate: $21.59 / Hour Schedule: Mon 12:00 PM – 07:30 PM, Tue 12:00 PM – 07:30 PM, Sat 05:30 AM – 12:00 PM, Sun 06:30 AM – 12:00 PM. What You’ll Do Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors by carrying out security-related screening procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location. Monitor entry points and screen individuals and personal items in accordance with site protocols, helping to support authorized access and identify unusual activity for further review. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting irregular conditions and reporting security-related concerns in a timely manner. Minimum Requirements Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
