Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ mental health to evaluate their psychological status and identify treatment needs. Develop individualized therapy plans that align with evidence-based practices and the unique circumstances of each patient. Facilitate regular therapy sessions, both one-on-one and in group formats, equipping clients with coping strategies and tools to address their mental health challenges. Actively engage in ongoing monitoring of client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure the highest quality of care. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and support staff, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients. Maintain accurate and confidential client records using electronic health record systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and ethical standards. Provide crisis intervention and support in high-pressure situations, prioritizing client safety and de-escalation techniques. Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution is required. A valid, current license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or similar credential in the state of Oregon. A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling is essential. Strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies. Exceptional communication skills, with a capacity to build rapport with a diverse clientele while maintaining professional integrity and confidentiality. Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and comfortable with telehealth technologies. Demonstrated crisis intervention skills and capability to thrive in challenging situations. Preferred Experience Experience working in a community health setting. Familiarity with group therapy modalities and techniques. Additional certifications or training in specialized therapeutic areas, such as trauma-informed care or substance abuse counseling. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
