You will leverage telehealth platforms to conduct video consultations, utilizing electronic health records systems like AVATAR for documentation and case management. Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform initial mental health evaluations to assess clients' emotional, behavioral, and psychological health.

• Develop personalized treatment strategies that cater to the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Conduct individual therapy and group therapy sessions, providing a safe and supportive atmosphere for clients to share and grow.

• Monitor and document client progress, adjusting intervention plans as needed to ensure optimum recovery outcomes.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and primary care doctors, to create a comprehensive treatment plan for clients.

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of therapy sessions, treatment plans, and follow-up communications.

• Provide resources and support to families and caregivers to help them navigate mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a mental health counselor at Function First, you will work with a diverse population that encompasses individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and socio-economic statuses. Our clients may present with a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction disorders. Your role will extend beyond individual therapy sessions, as you engage families and groups, fostering a holistic approach to mental health and well-being.

Qualifications\n

• An earned Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Exam (NCE) and/or National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating your capability to work with complex cases.

• Proficient in utilizing electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, to manage client documentation effectively.

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually.
