Work Environment\n

This position offers a remote work setting, providing flexibility and convenience for both counselors and clients. Utilizing telehealth platforms allows our counselors to effectively connect with clients in a comfortable environment, breaking down traditional barriers to treatment. While the core hours of operation are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, some evening shifts may be required based on patient needs, demonstrating our commitment to accessibility for all clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the needs, goals, and recovery readiness of individuals seeking treatment for substance use disorders.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the specific challenges faced by each client.

• Deliver engaging individual counseling sessions employing techniques like motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy to foster client engagement and accountability.

• Facilitate dynamic group therapy sessions that encourage peer support and shared experiences to enhance recovery outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, addiction medicine specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to care.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support for clients experiencing substance-related emergencies, ensuring their safety and stabilizing their condition.

• Educate clients and their families about addiction, strategies for recovery, and available community resources to strengthen their support networks.

• Maintain accurate, secure, and confidential documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring continuity of care and quality oversight.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be individuals grappling with substance use disorders, ranging from mild to severe cases. Many of our clients may also present with co-occurring mental health diagnoses, demanding a well-rounded, integrated approach to treatment. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in a relevant field such as Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology is required.

• Must hold a valid license as a Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in the state of Arizona.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering both individual and group therapy specifically in the context of addiction treatment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
