Work Environment\n

This role is entirely remote, allowing you to create a personalized work environment that best suits your needs while ensuring that our patients receive outstanding care. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and other professionals while conducting assessments and therapy sessions via telehealth platforms. Our work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with some flexibility for evening sessions based on patient demands.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the needs and recovery goals of patients seeking treatment for substance use disorders.

• Develop personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic strategies tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.

• Facilitate individual counseling sessions employing motivational interviewing techniques and cognitive-behavioral therapy to encourage positive behavioral changes.

• Organize and lead group therapy sessions designed to foster support among individuals on similar recovery journeys, enhancing their sense of community.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and addiction specialists, to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention during emergencies involving substance use, offering immediate support and guidance to those in need.

• Educate patients and their families on addiction dynamics, recovery strategies, and available community resources to facilitate informed choices.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress, adhering strictly to legal and ethical regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals grappling with substance use disorders. You will be instrumental in guiding clients through various stages of recovery, helping them face challenges such as relapse, emotional distress, and setting realistic recovery goals. Your empathetic, non-judgmental approach will ensure they feel safe and supported throughout their treatment journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.

• Comprehensive knowledge of substance use disorders, recovery-oriented care, and evidence-based treatment practices.

• Proven experience in providing both individual and group therapy within addiction treatment settings.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills alongside a compassionate, empathetic demeanor.

• Robust understanding of maintaining professional boundaries while ensuring patient confidentiality and adherence to ethical standards.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient interactions efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually and includes a sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team.
