Work Environment\n

This role is designed for a full-time Mental Health Counselor working remotely via telehealth services. You will utilize secure online platforms to conduct virtual consultations, assessments, and therapy sessions. Our telehealth framework allows you to engage with clients effectively, ensuring they experience the same level of care as in-person visits. With a typical commitment of 40 hours per week, your flexibility in scheduling will enable you to accommodate diverse client needs while maintaining your work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, diagnoses, and develop treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

• Manage and adjust treatment programs collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams of medical, psychiatric, and allied health professionals.

• Supervise post-master's fellows and associate counselors, if applicable, ensuring compliance with supervision standards.

• Provide psychoeducation and guidance to patients and their families to support treatment adherence and understanding.

• Utilize community resources effectively, including making referrals to external services when necessary.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential treatment records, complying with state and NCQA standards.

• Participate in departmental staff meetings to discuss treatment planning, progress evaluations, and case management strategies.

• Respond to safety risks by notifying mandated reporting agencies in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals regarding medication management and treatment options.

• Develop and facilitate psychoeducational groups or classes for clients seeking additional support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve a diverse range of adult and child family members requiring mental health intervention. Our clients may present with varying diagnoses, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and behavioral issues. You will be tasked with providing culturally competent care, tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of each individual or family. Your role is vital in helping clients navigate their mental health journeys, promote recovery, and improve overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Social Welfare, Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (California), Marriage and Family Therapist (California), or Professional Clinical Counselor (California).

• National Provider Identifier (NPI) required upon hire.

• Previous experience in mental health counseling is strongly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 122,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.
