Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and diagnostic assessments through structured interviews and standardized tools to understand the client's needs thoroughly.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that outline targeted interventions for mental, emotional, and behavioral health issues, including crisis interventions when necessary.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques tailored to clients’ unique experiences.

• Monitor and document client progress throughout treatment, adjusting intervention strategies as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical professionals, ensuring an integrated care approach.

• Maintain accurate records using electronic health record systems, such as AVATAR, ensuring compliance with state regulations and best practices.
\n
• Assist clients and their families in navigating challenges, providing guidance and education regarding mental health and wellness strategies.

• Stay informed about current trends in mental health treatment and contribute to the development of program enhancements that meet our clients' evolving needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clinic serves a diverse patient population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. Clients present a range of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. You will work closely with clients to create a safe space for open communication, understanding, and healing.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent in Illinois.

• Successfully passed the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Strong clinical skills demonstrated through past roles as a mental health counselor.
\n
• Proficient in the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems, particularly AVATAR, for effective client management.
\n
• Deep understanding of various mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and motivational interviewing techniques.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with clients dealing with co-occurring disorders, trauma, or severe mental illness.

• Familiarity with best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Knowledge of psychopharmacology and its implications for treatment planning.

• Demonstrated ability to manage crisis situations and provide emergency interventions.

• Strong interpersonal skills that foster trust and rapport with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Prime Stable Psychotherapy Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications, alongside a sign-on bonus. Benefits include:
