This position offers a flexible remote work environment while maintaining regular office hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting initial evaluations of patients to assess their mental health needs, utilizing standardized assessment tools and interviews to gather comprehensive data.

• Collaborating with patients to develop personalized treatment plans focused on achieving their mental health goals while incorporating evidence-based practices.

• Providing therapeutic support to trauma injury patients through various modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness techniques, and stress management strategies.

• Educating patients about coping mechanisms and resources available to them, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery journey.

• Monitoring patient progress regularly, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their evolving needs, and documenting all interactions in electronic medical records (EMR).

• Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including social services and medical providers, to ensure that patients receive holistic care tailored to their individual circumstances.

• Participating in continuing education and professional development opportunities to maintain your certification as a National Certified Counselor and stay abreast of contemporary practices and techniques in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with patients who are coping with trauma-related disorders. Many of our patients may have experienced significant stressors or injuries that require specialized psychological support. Your expertise will be invaluable in providing compassionate care tailored to the unique needs of this population, addressing both the mental and emotional effects of their experiences.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida.

• A minimum of 3 years of direct experience working with trauma patients, demonstrating a deep understanding of the complexities involved in their recovery.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with a specific emphasis on creating documentation and managing data.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and collaborate with colleagues effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience with Salesforce and EMR systems is highly advantageous and will facilitate a smoother transition into our operational workflows. Additionally, familiarity with trauma-informed care principles is preferred as they underpin our treatment philosophies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
