The position is based onsite at our fully-equipped Rehabilitation Center located in sunny Orlando, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical status, medical history, and functional capabilities to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities such as heat or cold therapy.
• Guide patients through active and passive exercises, focusing on muscle re-education, functional mobility, and daily living activities.
• Instruct patients and their families on self-care strategies, home exercise programs, and preventive measures to support ongoing recovery.
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient progress using our electronic health records system, ensuring accurate and timely updates on treatment plans.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions such as arthritis. Our patient demographic ranges from athletes seeking to regain peak performance to seniors aiming to preserve their independence and mobility. You'll develop a deep understanding of each patient's unique challenges and aspirations, thus fostering trust and encouraging their dedication to the rehabilitation process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program - a Master's Degree is preferred.
• Active Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy is required.
• Exceptional communication skills with a focus on building rapport with patients and their families.
• Strong clinical assessment abilities, ensuring accurate diagnosis and effective treatment strategies.

Preferred Experience

• Board Certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient documentation and patient care tracking.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary in the range of USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
