Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new patients and families, ensuring a thorough understanding of their unique experiences and needs.

• Deliver personalized individual and family therapy sessions, developing treatment approaches rooted in the client’s specific needs and cultural context.

• Maintain meticulous documentation by completing all billing, treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms within designated time frames to ensure compliance and facilitate smooth operations.

• Create crisis and safety plans when necessary, along with relapse prevention and wellness plans tailored to support patient stability and recovery.
\n
• Formulate effective discharge plans to help facilitate a smooth transition for clients out of therapy.
\n
• Adhere to all current federal and state laws, as well as Serenity Peaks' policies and procedures, maintaining the highest ethical standards in mental health care.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through training and continuing education to enhance clinical skills and competencies.
\n
• Participate actively in case consultations and agency meetings, collaborating with colleagues to discuss complex cases and share best practices.

• Complete all licensure and mandatory training requirements to maintain professional credentials and uphold service quality.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Serenity Peaks, you will work with a diverse patient population, including adults, adolescents, and families facing various mental health challenges. Our clients come to us for support with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other emotional and behavioral conditions. Your role is crucial in helping clients navigate their mental health journeys and facilitating their path towards improved well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related discipline is required.

• Active licensure as a mental health therapist in the state of Texas - LPC, LMFT, or LCSW.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in an outpatient mental health setting is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote therapy delivery is a plus.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
