This position is fully remote, allowing counselors the flexibility to work from home while engaging in meaningful therapeutic relationships with clients via telehealth. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to gain a comprehensive understanding of each client’s unique mental health challenges and create tailored treatment plans.

• Facilitate individualized therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques, to address concerns like anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.

• Provide crisis intervention for clients facing acute psychological distress while ensuring their safety and emotional stability.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients and enhance therapeutic outcomes.

• Maintain precise and confidential client documentation adhering to ethical and legal standards, ensuring accurate monitoring of client progress.

• Engage in continued professional development through regular training to stay updated with the latest mental health practices and interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on working with a diverse group of individuals, couples, and families who are seeking support for a variety of mental health issues. This includes clients contending with anxiety disorders, depressive symptoms, trauma histories, and complex relationship challenges. The role involves being attuned to the unique cultural and contextual backgrounds of clients, enabling you to provide culturally competent care.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCPC (Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor), LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) in the state of Maryland.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive salary, ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. As a full-time clinician, you will also be eligible for a monthly healthcare stipend to support your health and wellness needs. Additionally, counselors have access to the platform’s services as clients, as long as they are active practitioners.
