Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories and determine appropriate therapeutic interventions.

• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, incorporating methods such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that empower clients to process their trauma experiences while learning effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive care that is tailored to each client's needs.

• Provide crisis intervention support for patients experiencing acute trauma-related distress, ensuring a safe and responsive approach.

• Educate patients and their families about the trauma recovery process, coping mechanisms, and available resources for support.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and health records in alignment with legal and ethical guidelines.

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals who are navigating the complexities of trauma, including those suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in the state of Texas as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.

• Adept understanding of trauma-related disorders and competence in various trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on empathy, compassion, and active listening.

• Proficient in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth technologies.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
