Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and identify optimal treatment options.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and the development of resilience-building strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Host individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process traumatic experiences, acquire coping mechanisms, and foster emotional healing.

• Work in close collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and cohesive care for patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and supportive resources during instances of trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and introduce them to available coping strategies and community resources.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards to ensure continuity of care.

• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development initiatives focused on trauma-informed methodologies.

• Stay current with leading research and best practices pertaining to trauma therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Oregon.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in the field of mental health counseling.

Compensation and Benefits\n
