Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations to ascertain patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans that address their specific goals and conditions.
• Manage a patient caseload of approximately one patient per hour, ensuring focused and personalized care.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques to alleviate pain and improve mobility, integrating them into comprehensive care plans.
• Administer evidence-based therapeutic exercises tailored to enhance patients' strength, flexibility, and overall function.
• Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies as required to maximize clinical outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment modalities in our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, specifically WebPT, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with healthcare professionals to provide holistic care and comprehensive service delivery.
• Empower patients by educating them on healthy lifestyle choices and motivating them to adhere to prescribed rehabilitation protocols.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment regimens and communicate outcomes clearly to patients and referring practitioners.
• Stay current on best practices in physical therapy and seek ongoing education to enhance professional skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on outpatient orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. Understanding the nuanced challenges faced by this population, you will design and implement treatment plans that help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals. Your empathetic approach will be crucial in fostering trust and encouraging active participation in their recovery process.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate (DPT) degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• A professional record free of board or disciplinary actions, demonstrating a strong ethical foundation in patient care.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques, with a focus on pain relief and functional mobility enhancement.
• Demonstrated competence in developing exercise protocols tailored to individual patient needs.
• Experience using EMR systems, specifically WebPT, to document patient care and treatment plans effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Strong background in rehabilitative care, emphasizing functional outcomes and patient engagement.
• Experience working with diverse patient populations, including geriatric patients and athletes.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 150,000 to 180,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
