Orthopedic Physical Therapist - Full-Time Opportunity

Work Environment

As an onsite Physical Therapist in our rehabilitation facility, you will join a close-knit team consisting of two other physical therapists and a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Our facilities boast over 5,000 square feet of space dedicated to sports medicine and orthopedic rehabilitation. The work schedule for this position is Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a consistent routine while ensuring you have ample time to focus on your practice and patient care.

Key Responsibilities

In your new role, you will be responsible for the following:

• Assessing patients' individual needs and establishing personal recovery goals.
• Managing a patient caseload, seeing one patient per hour to ensure focused, quality care.
• Delivering orthopedic treatments that enhance patients' mobility, strength, and overall wellness.
• Creating detailed care plans that incorporate a variety of treatment modalities tailored to each patient.
• Using evidence-based interventions to reduce dependence on medications and surgical options.
• Designing and implementing customized fitness and wellness programs tailored to individual patient profiles.
• Documenting all patient interactions and progress thoroughly in our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
• Motivating and supporting patients throughout their therapy to optimize their physical potential.
• Coordinating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
• Evaluating the effectiveness of treatment plans and adjusting them as necessary based on patient progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility predominantly serves patients with orthopedic concerns, including those recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions requiring rehabilitation. Most of our clients are covered by private medical insurance, enabling us to provide quality services without compromising care. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in guiding these individuals through their recovery, emphasizing personalized care and evidence-based treatment approaches.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or higher (Doctorate in Physical Therapy - DPT preferred).
• A valid California Physical Therapist license that is in good standing.
• An unblemished professional record, free from disciplinary actions.
• Strong competence in manual therapy techniques and physical rehabilitation.
• Proficiency in creating and executing exercise protocols specific to orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Experience with EMR software, particularly WebPT, to document patient interactions seamlessly.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is required, we welcome applicants with additional specialties or advanced certifications related to physical therapy, as these can further benefit our diverse patient population.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes health and dental insurance, paid time off, retirement plans, and continued education support.
