Work Environment

This role is based onsite at our cutting-edge rehabilitation facility located in Anaheim. Our environment promotes teamwork and learning, offering a space where healthcare professionals collaborate to achieve common patient-focused goals. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance while meeting the needs of our patient community.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and address individual patient goals and needs to craft tailor-made rehabilitation strategies.
• Manage a patient load that averages one individual per hour, ensuring focused and personalized therapy sessions.
• Implement effective treatment protocols aimed at optimizing patient mobility and function, utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Develop comprehensive care plans that incorporate various treatment modalities, including manual therapy and exercise prescription.
• Engage in ongoing assessment of treatment effectiveness, adjusting care plans based on patient progress and feedback.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans using EMR software, such as WebPT, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
• Promote a preventative approach by educating patients on non-surgical alternatives and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to align treatment strategies with overarching patient health goals.
• Motivate and empower patients during their rehabilitation journey, enhancing their engagement and adherence to therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient base primarily consists of individuals with private medical insurance who seek relief from various orthopedic conditions. Your role will involve working with patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain situations, offering individualized care to help them regain strength, flexibility, and confidence in their movement.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
• No disciplinary action or board actions against your licensure.
• Demonstrable manual therapy skills and the ability to develop effective exercise protocols.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• History of developing and implementing patient-centered therapy programs tailored to individual needs.
• Skills in effective communication and interpersonal relations with patients, families, and team members.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time role ranges from USD 100,000 to 125,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
