Baker's Field Therapy Services is on the lookout for a dedicated Full-Time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Anaheim, California. This role is pivotal in guiding patients through their rehabilitation journeys, facilitating the restoration of mobility, strength, and function. Our practice operates from a state-of-the-art 5,000 square feet sports medicine facility that is meticulously designed to support diverse rehabilitation needs. We primarily serve patients with private medical insurance, allowing for a tailored and focused approach to care. Our team comprises two seasoned physical therapists and a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), all working collaboratively to provide comprehensive therapy solutions.

Work Environment

This role is onsite at our dedicated rehabilitation center located in Anaheim, California. We encourage a supportive and collaborative atmosphere where professionals share their knowledge and techniques, fostering continuous learning and improvement. Our normal working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life schedule for our staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' goals and individual needs, crafting customized treatment plans accordingly.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring personalized attention and dedicated care to each patient.
• Implement diverse treatment techniques and modalities designed to enhance function and mobility while ensuring cost-effective care.
• Facilitate rehabilitation efforts by minimizing reliance on medications and exploring non-surgical alternatives tailored to each patient's condition.
• Motivate patients throughout their treatment processes to foster engagement and optimize their recovery outcomes.
• Document all services provided, tracking patient progress and adjusting care plans as necessary based on ongoing evaluations and outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, sharing insights and strategies to enhance holistic patient care.
• Encourage a proactive approach to health, focusing on strengthening, flexibility, balance, and coordination in individual and curated fitness and wellness programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary patient base will consist of individuals receiving outpatient orthopedic care. You will work with a diverse range of patients, from athletes recovering from sports injuries to individuals seeking rehabilitation after surgeries or managing chronic conditions. Baker's Field Therapy Services is committed to fulfilling the unique needs of each patient, ensuring they receive evidence-based, comprehensive care tailored to their specific situations.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active Physical Therapist license in California, with no recorded instances of board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques and a strong foundation in developing and implementing exercise programs.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) software, including familiarity with WebPT or similar systems, to guarantee efficient documentation and record-keeping.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience specifically in orthopedic outpatient care, allowing for immediate engagement and contribution within our practice.
• A history of utilizing advanced therapeutic techniques and modalities in previous roles.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 125,000 per year, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package. This includes health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for continued education and professional development.
