Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Bloomingdale Psychotherapy Center, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive mental health evaluations and assessments to identify client needs and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Providing crisis intervention and follow-up care for clients in acute distress, ensuring they receive appropriate support and resources.
\n
• Coordinating with other healthcare professionals and departments to determine the best course of action for client care and treatment disposition.
\n
• Leading group therapy sessions for clients who may benefit from shared experiences and community support.
\n
• Documenting all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans thoroughly and accurately in accordance with agency protocols.

• Participating in weekly clinical supervision to refine your skills, discuss challenging cases, and ensure high-quality care delivery.

• Engaging in case conferences to collaborate on treatment strategies for clients in need of more comprehensive mental health services.

• Performing psychological testing as needed, contributing valuable insights into the client’s condition and progress.
\n
• Providing mentorship to social work interns or student volunteers under your supervision.
\n
• Completing other duties as assigned by the Unit Chief, Assistant Unit Chief, or Clinical Supervisor to ensure optimal patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with a broad spectrum of clients, including those experiencing severe mental illnesses, behavioral issues, and substance use histories. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A valid license as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.

• A Master’s degree or doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of five years of full-time, paid professional experience providing direct client care in a behavioral health setting.

• A proven history of experience with mental health assessments, treatment planning, and follow-up care.
