Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive physical examinations of patients, leveraging your clinical expertise to assess their health conditions accurately.
• Review and analyze medical histories and records to inform diagnosis and treatment plans.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests, including laboratory assessments and imaging studies, to guide patient management strategies.
• Diagnose and provide medical treatments for an array of conditions, efficiently managing acute and chronic health issues within the family medicine framework.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, particularly focusing on chronic and infectious disease management.
• Prescribe necessary medications, effectively monitoring patient responses to therapy and adjusting regimens as required.
• Maintain meticulous records of all patient interactions, treatments, and follow-ups, ensuring compliance with health regulations and quality standards.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures to encourage active participation in their care.
• Promote wellness by advising patients on lifestyle changes and preventive care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will serve a diverse range of patients, including individuals with varying conditions that require acute and chronic management. Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited program.
• Current certification as a Physician Assistant from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• A valid Physician Assistant state licensure to practice in New York.
• Proven experience working as a Physician Assistant, particularly in family medicine or a similar health care setting.

• Possession of a DEA number is required for prescribing controlled medications.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $140,000 to $160,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
