Key Responsibilities

• Work alongside the supervising physician to deliver coordinated and comprehensive care tailored to the needs of each patient.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including taking medical histories, performing physical examinations, and ordering laboratory tests and diagnostics as needed.
• Once you complete the necessary training, you will manage your own patient caseload, ensuring continuous care and follow-up appointments.
• Assist in a variety of dermatological surgeries and closely monitor patients during their post-operative recovery.
• Provide health education to patients regarding skin health, treatment options, and skincare regimens.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborative efforts to enhance service delivery and improve patient outcomes.
• Perform administrative obligations, such as maintaining accurate medical records and documenting patient interactions according to clinic standards.
• Contribute to additional duties as assigned by the supervisory team, fostering a culture of teamwork and responsiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients include individuals seeking treatment for a variety of dermatological conditions, such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancers, as well as those interested in cosmetic procedures to enhance their appearance. Qualifications

• Current Physician Assistant license issued in New York State.
• Minimum of two years of experience working in dermatology or a similar medical specialty.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
