Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient histories and physical assessments to identify dermatological conditions accurately.
• Order, perform, and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures to facilitate timely and accurate diagnoses.
• Develop and implement effective treatment plans that integrate both pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical options, ensuring the best patient care outcomes.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adapting plans as needed to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.
• Educate patients and their families on dermatological conditions and treatment protocols, empowering them with knowledge for better health management.
• Executing dermatological procedures as per training and privileges, including skin cancer screenings, biopsies, and cosmetic procedures.
• Record patient information meticulously within our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
• Engage in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare team members to optimize patient care and coordinate health management efforts.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clientele will include a diverse population seeking treatment for various skin issues, from common conditions like acne and eczema to complex skin disorders and cosmetic enhancements. Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current certification as a Physician Assistant and a valid NY state medical license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a Physician Assistant role, ideally in a dermatological or related setting.

Compensation and Benefits
