This role is primarily remote, allowing for a flexible work schedule that accommodates the needs of both our counselors and clients. Although remote, our LPCs are connected through regular team meetings and collaborative initiatives. Our outpatient office environment focuses on delivering high-quality mental health services to a diverse population, ensuring that counselors can effectively support their clients through virtual modalities.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify their individual needs and develop personalized treatment strategies.

• Maintain proactive communication with supervisors and interdisciplinary team members regarding patients' progress and treatment plans.

• Coordinate home visits as required, ensuring that you can conduct critical in-home observations, chart reviews, and interviews.

• Implement and monitor the effectiveness of individualized treatment plans, adjusting as needed based on clients' responses and feedback.

• Participate in regular Interdisciplinary Team Meetings to discuss best practices and share insights related to patient care.
\n
• Document monthly and quarterly progress notes that track client improvement and highlight areas needing further intervention.
\n
• Organize training sessions for staff to ensure competency in program implementation and documentation standards.
\n
• Actively engage with clients through follow-up interviews and support visits to foster continuity of care.

• Ensure that all records and documentation comply with legal and ethical standards, remaining accessible to authorized personnel.

• Serve as a liaison between the mental health community and the public to promote understanding and support for developmental goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor with Insight Family Therapy, you will work with a diverse clientele, including adults and youth experiencing a range of challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. Your expertise in specialized areas, such as family therapy or trauma intervention, will enable you to personalize your approach for each client, maximizing their chances of achieving their mental health goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor in Texas.
\n
• Minimum of 2 years experience in counseling, preferably within clinical settings, demonstrating a strong record of successful client outcomes.

• A specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma, or substance misuse is highly desired.
\n
• Thorough understanding of legal and ethical standards governing mental health practices.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to build rapport and trust with diverse clients.

• Proficiency in utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and other relevant technology to enhance service delivery.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years is required, additional experience working in outpatient settings or with multidisciplinary teams can significantly enhance your effectiveness in this role. Familiarity with evidence-based practices and approaches tailored to various age groups will also be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n
