Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct family therapy sessions to empower parents and caregivers with the tools necessary to provide a nurturing and supportive environment for their children.

• Work collaboratively with child psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to ensure an integrated and holistic approach to mental health care.

• Provide immediate intervention during mental health crises involving children and adolescents, applying evidence-based practices to manage emergencies effectively.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources, thereby promoting understanding and reducing stigma.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with established legal and ethical guidelines.

• Actively participate in regular team meetings and case consultations to discuss progress, share insights, and refine treatment approaches.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and unrestricted license as an LCSW, LPC, LCPC, LMHC, or LMFT in the State of California is required. Please note that we cannot accept applicants with an associate license, as they are not billable through Medicare.

• Experience providing individual and family therapy to children and adolescents is crucial for success in this position.
