Empire Physical Therapist is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their physical therapy needs and goals upon their initial visit.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic techniques, focusing on enhancing mobility and function.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to provide effective interventions, ensuring that patients receive the most appropriate care for their conditions.
• Monitor and document patient progress in accordance with clinical standards, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate and guide patients on exercises, self-care strategies, and preventative measures to enhance their long-term health.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Promote wellness and healthy lifestyle choices by offering advice on physical fitness, nutrition, and injury prevention techniques.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation using EMR software, particularly WebPT, to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Engage in continuous education and professional development by attending workshops and training sessions to stay current with the latest PT advancements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on managing orthopedic conditions, which includes patients with sports-related injuries, postoperative rehabilitation, and chronic pain. You will work with a diverse population ranging from adolescents to older adults, necessitating a flexible approach and the ability to tailor treatments based on individual patient needs and recovery goals.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Active Physical Therapist license in Virginia, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Demonstrated expertise in various manual therapy techniques and therapeutic modalities.
• Experience developing effective exercise prescriptions tailored to specific patient needs.
• Strong proficiency with EMR systems, especially WebPT, for precise and efficient documentation.
• Current knowledge of physical therapy best practices, supported by research and recent developments in the field.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in orthopedic outpatient care is essential.
• Prior experience in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
