As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Driver Patrol Access Control in Columbus, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government airport location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service to travelers and staff. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $25.30 / Hour Job Schedule: Wed: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Thur: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Fri: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Sat: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Sun: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, airport-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport terminals, public areas, parking facilities, access points, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions. Monitor access to restricted or controlled areas in accordance with site procedures, verify credentials as assigned, and report unauthorized access attempts. Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate airport personnel and/or emergency responders according to established procedures. Prepare accurate activity logs and incident reports, maintain professional communication with airport stakeholders, and support a welcoming environment for the traveling public. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
